If you are a fan of the Japanese post-rock band Mono and will be in Bangkok on Tuesday, 17th January, you must not miss their concert at Live RCA. The band is in town as part of a world concert tour to promote their new album, Requiem for Hell. An album that is quite different than their last and, to me, just about the most gorgeous thing they have yet put out.
Requiem for Hell is the band’s ninth album, and it is even more orchestral than before, with the most stunning strings and even more explosive noise. And…absolutely gorgeous.
Watcha and listen to Mono’s official video for the title track from the album, ‘Requiem For Hell’ to see what I mean.
Mono’s Bangkok concert at Live RCA on January 17th will be supported by Bangkok bands Hope the Flowers and Inspirative. Tickets are 1,500 baht plus a 90 baht administration fee. You can grab them at Ticketmelon.
