The Gold Traders Association announced the latest buying price of gold in Thailand this morning – 21,587.84 baht per baht-weight for gold ornaments and 21,900 baht per baht-weight for gold bar.
They set the selling prices at 22,400 baht per baht-weight for gold ornaments, and 22,000 baht per baht-weight for gold bar.
Prices of gold have continued to remain strong, with buying gold in Thailand still seen as a good investment.
I took a ring to a gold shop in MBK mall a couple of weeks ago to sell and was offered good prices at two gold shops in the mall. I finally sold it for more than three times what I’d paid for it a few years ago. I’d never liked the ring and never wore it, so it was nice to get quite a few thousand baht for something that, to me, was useless. I’m sure someone else will like it more than I did.
