If you love shopping for bargains in Thailand, you will want to take note of the Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2023, which will officially kicked off this week.
The sale runs from June 15th to August 15th, 2023 and will be available in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Udon Thani, Chon Buri (Pattaya), and Songkhla (Hat Yai) at more than 10,000 stores.
The Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2023 is not just for shopping for physical items, however, as discounts and special deals will be available in major department stores, hotels, spas, shopping platforms and even from airlines.
Discounts will be up to 80% for some deals, with other special programs giving you a chance to win special (and in some case quite lucrative) prizes.
Special programs during the Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2023
One of the special programs that will be running through August 15th is the “Get Treasures” program, which will give you one one entry into a weekly prize drawing for every 500 baht you spend at participating stores.
Prizes are worth a total of 2.5 million baht, with a chance to win a five-star accommodation package, a new iPhone, round-trip domestic air tickets and even gold ornaments.
Another Amazing Thailand Grand Sales 2023 program is called “Get Thai Craft“.
In that program, for every 5,000 baht you spend at a store that displays the VAT Refund for Tourists sign, you will be given a voucher for a free Thai craft product.
These beautiful products are handmade in five local Thai communities and can be picked up at the VAT Refund counter at the following airports as you leave Thailand/fly to a new Thai destination — Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, U-Tapao-Rayong-Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Hat Yai.
A third program called “Get Im Jai” will reward you with a chic hand-printed shopping bag created by Artstory by AutisticThai for every 3,000 baht you spend at participating stores.
Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2023 expected to welcome more than 200,000 foreign tourists
Every year, the Amazing Thailand Grand Sale brings hundreds of thousands of foreign tourists who travel to Thailand specifically to take advantage of the many bargains.
This year, with the Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2023, it appears the Tourist Authority of Thailand (TAT) has gone above and beyond, and is offering participation in some phenomenal discounted shopping programs for both foreign tourists and Thai nationals alike.
