The massively successful Korean girl group TWICE recently announced they would be performing in Bangkok, Thailand on September 23rd, 2023.
TWICE’s Bangkok, Thailand concert is part of the group’s third worldwide concert tour — the Ready to be World Tour. A tour that kicked off on April 15th this year, and has already hit five cities in South Korea, Australia and Japan.
Starting June 10th, the Ready to be World Tour will kick off in North America, with the girl’s first American concert in Inglewood, California.
TWICE will then perform 12 more concerts in the U.S. before heading to Singapore on September 2nd, followed by concerts in Europe before hitting Bangkok on September 23rd.
The concert tour will end on December 28th in Fukuoka, Japan.
When can you buy tickets for the TWICE Bangkok concert on September 23rd?
Ticket information for the TWICE Bangkok concert taking place at Impact Arena was released earlier today via their official Twitter account.
Tickets will go on sale first for Live Nation Members on June 16th at 10am, and will be sold until 10pm.
General ticket sales for the TWICE Bangkok concert will then kick off the following day, June 17th, at 10am via the Live Nation website.
Tickets begin at 2,800 baht (approximately $81) for the cheapest seats, and go all the way up to a VIP ticket for 6,800 baht (approx. $198).
VIP tickets, of course, will come with many “extras”, including access to the show’s soundcheck and several exclusive gifts.
Yes, they are expensive tickets for a concert in Thailand, and on a par with the same price being charged in the United States, where average salaries are much higher than an average Thai salary.
Unfortunately, that is what K-pop stars charge nowadays. Even to their fans in countries where the average salary is much lower than South Korea’s.
Why is TWICE’s Bangkok concert called Ready To Be?
The concerts on the group’s entire Ready To Be World Tour are being held to support the release of their 12th EP of the same name.
The EP came out in early March, 2023, with the album ranking high up charts in 19 countries, including making it to #2 on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States and #1 on the U.S. World Albums chart.
Mark your calendars for June 16th or 17th, so you don’t miss grabbing tickets for TWICE’s Bangkok concert, and watch the official music video for the South Korean girl group’s latest single ‘Set Me Free‘ to see what you will miss if you do.
