The Steve Jobs wax figure at Hong Kong’s Madame Tussauds has been so popular, it’s going on a world tour. Well, not really a world tour, but Steve Jobs is coming to Madame Tussauds in Bangkok. He will be unveiled on March 19th, 2013 and you’ll find him at the Madame Tussauds on the 6th floor of the Siam Discovery Center in downtown Bangkok.
The founder of Apple will, of course, be wearing his trademark black Levi jeans and black turtleneck sweater, as well as his famous John Lennon-style eye glasses.
If you want an idea as to if you should bother going to the Bangkok Madame Tussaud’s to see the Steve Jobs wax figure (it is expensive and far more expensive for anyone who is not Thai as Thais only pay 450 baht ($15.25) per ticket while foreigners have to pay 800 baht ($27.15), here’s a very nice video of the Steve Jobs wax figure in his usual place at the Madame Tussauds at Hong Kong’s The Peak Tower.
Pretty darned lifelike wouldn’t you say?
Personally, I wouldn’t be caught dead (or as a wax figure) at Madame Tussauds in Bangkok as I don’t give my business, or money, to organizations that practice dual-pricing for Thais and foreigners. You, however, may feel differently.
