“Bang Bang” T Shirts and Accessories at Chatuchak Weekend Market

Walking around Chatuchak Weekend Market on Sunday, I discovered a shop called “Bang, Bang“.

A tiny t shirt and accessory shop owned by a young Thai woman called Nan, its main focus is brightly colored t shirts with appliqued fabric prints of famous people on the front.

Completely modern, cool and, in its way, quite chic, on closer inspection I also found displays of small handmade t shirt fabric bags with prints of famous folks like Gandhi, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Johnny Depp on the front, and the same people and many others on keychains, magnets, post cards and badges.

Of course, I couldn’t resist buying a small zippered fabric bag, which I’m going to use to carry my passport in when I travel, and I’ll likely be back next week for a t shirt and a matching key ring.

You can find “Bang Bang” – Designed by Nan, at  Chatuchak Weekend Market, Section 20, Soi 2. (They’re open Saturdays and Sundays from 9″30 am to around 6pm).

Or you can email her at [email protected] She also has a Facebook page that’s regularly updated with t shirts, mugs, pins, watches, bags and more — all available at the Terminal 21 Bang Bang shop.
