Doraemon: Nobita and the Island of Miracles Opens October 18th in Thailand

If you are a Doraemon fan like much of Thailand is, you have probably been desperately waiting for Doraemon: Nobita and the Island of Miracles, to open in Thailand. The latest Doraemon movie, also known as ‘Doraemon and the Last Haven’, opened in Japan more than six months ago so we’re not sure what the hold up was for Thailand’s movie theaters? But, the time has finally arrived, October 18th, so we’re not complaining. Yay!

In the latest movie (the 32nd of the series, by the way), we find Doraemon, Dorami and Nobita flying off to visit a tropical island 500 years in the past, after they hear all the animals on it will end up extinct. Somebody needs to save them and they decide they’re the trio for the job.But can they be successful, or will natural selection prevail?

If you and the family would love to see the latest movie, check out Movieseer for up to date movie times for Doraemon: Nobita and the Island of Miracles at movie theaters in Bangkok and all over Thailand.

They will also tell you if the version you want to see is in Japanese with Thai subtitles, or dubbed in Thai and with English subtitles.

Of course, the Japanese version is usually better but Thailand doesn’t often have English subtitles on these, just Thai. That means, unless you can speak Japanese or read Thai, you and the kids won’t understand.

Doraemon: Nobita and the Island of Miracles will officially open in movie theaters all over Thailand on Thursday, October 18th, 2012. We cannot wait.
