iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S are ridiculously expensive in Thailand
If you’re planning on buying an iPhone 5C or iPhone 5S in Thailand, you might want to think again. That’s because, although the newest iPhones aren’t legally for sale in Thailand yet, the just-published likely prices for them are ridiculously high. So high, in fact, the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S are much more expensive in Thailand than was originally expected.
According to a few Thai tech sites that have already gotten their hands on the expected prices for an iPhone 5C or iPhone 5S in Thailand, not only will these two latest iPhones be some of the most expensive iPhones yet, you’ll pay a lot more for them in Thailand than you will in the US.
So how much is an iPhone 5C or iPhone 5S in Thailand going to be? You might want to sit down.

Personally, I’ve always thought people that buy iPhones or any Apple product for that matter, are a bit clueless about money. After all, iPhones and all other Apple products are just Chinese-made products that an American company is charging the earth for, and foolish consumers or ‘Apple fanboys’ as they’re often known, keep buying them.
As for the mark-up on Apple iPhones, industry analysts say they cost Apple an average of $199 to manufacture. So you do the math.
So, how much is an iPhone 5C or iPhone 5S in Thailand? A lot more than I would ever pay, that’s for sure. Then again, I prefer to keep my money in savings and investments and not give it to a large American corporation like Apple that is not only massively overcharging for their product but also willingly giving my personal information to the NSA and the US government. How about you?
