Siam Center Bangkok Photographs: New Renovation is Beautiful

Siam Center advertisement

Siam Center in Bangkok, Thailand is one of the most popular malls in the country, as well as one of the oldest. That’s why it was closed for much of 2012 for a major renovation and just reopened a few weeks ago. Let me tell you, since the renovation, it’s gorgeous.

If you haven’t had a chance to visit Siam Center in Bangkok since they reopened you really should. Not only are there some incredibly cool new stores, there’s a gorgeous food court, artwork everywhere, some amazing exhibits and — if you like taking photographs like me — the interior of the mall is a photographer’s dream.

Here are just a few photographs of Siam Center I took a couple of weeks ago. Isn’t it stunning? Don’t miss photographs of the new Food Factory at Siam Center as well – they are here, and the food is excellent.

Siam Center sculptures
Thai craftsmen make these incredible horses completely out of pieces of wood — this one is a much-larger-than-life sculpture and absolutely gorgeous. You’ll find it inside Siam Center at one of the main entrance ways.
Siam Center seats
Fun seating area that has huge balls suspended above it — balls that have photographs projected onto them so they always look different.
Siam Center balloons
Silver helium balloons are suspended from the ceiling all over the mall.
Siam Center exhibit
An exhibit of hand-painted doll statues.
Siam Center horse
See how large these amazing statues are compared to an average-sized person!
