Sorajak Kasemsuvan has officially been named as the new president of Thai Airways today. Not really a surprise, as he was the only man being considered for the job. Still, it’s likely to be a positive action by Thai Airways who have been in some upheaval since former Thai Airways president, Piyasvasti Amranand, was fired three months ago.
Sorajak Kasemsuvan has been the chairman of MCOT, the Thai media conglomerate, for the last nine months, so that he’s moving to a new job so soon is, however, surprising.
Mr. Kasemsuvan has a PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science
We wish him well in his new position.
