Every time I see one of these chocolate and nut bananas in Thailand, it’s hard to think about anything but phallic symbols. On food stalls all over Bangkok, coated bananas are the latest snack-food-on-a-stick craze.
Some are coated with chocolate, some with a thick pudding substance, others still with candy, nuts or brightly colored sprinkles. I love bananas, but just can’t quite bring myself to try one of these. They look really sweet and, besides, they’re massive.
