Asia’s largest gin festival, the East Imperial Gin Jubilee, will be held in Bangkok at the end of this month for the very first time. The gin festival, founded in Singapore, is currently in its fifth year and will see 17 of Bangkok’s best bars vying for the honor of being named the place that has the best gin and tonic in the city.
The winner will be announced on the closing day of the festival, at the Gin Lane Street Party on February 4th.
Before this, though, there will be five days of masterclasses, workshops and guest bartenders serving some of the best gin-based drinks at bars all around Bangkok.
Participating bars include TEP Bar, Bamboo Bar (seen in the video below), Track 17, Bronx, Sorrento Sathorn, Backstage Cocktail Bar and Teens of Thailand.
