Kwanz takes phenomenal photographs, both in Thailand and outside Thailand too. His candid shots of Thais, or of objects you normally wouldn’t look twice at are incredible, particularly when he uses a Lomo camera or Polaroid film.

This one was taken in Bangkok in 2008 using a Hasselblad 500 CM + Planar80mm f2.8, and simply shows a Thai Buddhist monk reading a newspaper and relaxing.

The colors are deep and vibrant, and the composition of the photo simply lovely. It is also such an unusual study, it is hard to take your eyes off it.
