Thirty two new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Ayutthaya, Thailand in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number to almost 1,000 cases (984).
Thirteen of the latest cases have been traced to a medical supplies factory in the Sena district.
In the latest wave of Covid-19 in Thailand, eight people have died after contracting the virus, which currently falls in line with the reported approximately 99.5% survival rate worldwide after Covid infection.
Four hundred and 11 people in Ayutthaya still remain in area hospitals or in quarantine facilities.
According to the province’s official Facebook page other Covid-19 cases have also been reported in the Bang Pa-in, Phak Hai, Tha Rua, Phra Nakhon Si Ayuttaya, Wang Noi, Lat Bua Luang and Bang Pahan areas of Ayutthaya. (continue reading below)

Nationwide, the total number of Covid-19 cases in Thailand now stands at 174,796, most of whom have already recovered from the virus or are currently recovering.
A total of 1,213 deaths have occurred as of today. Again, in line with the worldwide approximate 99.5% survival rate.
