Imm Fusion is one of the best independent budget hotels in Bangkok. Offering superb accommodation and the most beautiful surroundings as well as typical Thai service, you’d have to be crazy to not stay here.
The Entrance at Imm Fusion – The fascinating thing about Imm Fusion is, unlike most budget hotels that decorate in Thai-style to bring in more guests, Imm Fusion has avoided that completely and gone the Moroccan route.
From the minute you walk onto the property, with its waterfalls and lamps, and down the long hallway towards the reception desk, you’re surrounded by Moroccan-style. Fans swish overhead and, on every side, gorgeous curtained alcoves are tucked away stuffed with floor cushions and squat tables and all decorated with bright, colorful pillows.
Rooms at Imm Fusion – Rooms at Imm Fusion are lovely. With several room sizes to choose from, you can go for a standard, deluxe or superior room, but all rooms have air conditioning, flat screen TV, en suite bathrooms and free Wi-Fi internet. Deluxe rooms also have DVD players.
Rooms at Imm Fusion are more Thai-style with typical Thai duvets and accessories, but then have terracotta-tiled floors and brightly tiled bathrooms and closets – again, more Moroccan style.
Facilities at Imm Fusion – For a budget hotel, Imm Fusion has excellent facilities.
The swimming pool is the first thing you notice. Surrounded by short Moroccan-style chairs and tables, this turquoise-tiled pool with its Moorish decorative windows, small fountains and lots of greenery is simply gorgeous.
Imm Fusion also has a fitness room, a small business center, a restaurant that does a lovely breakfast and an internet cafe. You can also get a Thai-style massage in their massage area.
Prices at Imm Fusion – For the quality of accommodation, the lovely staff and the beautiful surroundings, Imm Fusion’s room rates are excellent.
For a standard room, which is perfect for a single traveler, room rates start around $49 a night. Deluxe and superior rooms begin at $54 and go up to around $78 a night, depending on size of room and location.
Don’t forget to check their website though before booking, as Imm Fusion often has specials for internet users – some as cheap as $35 a night for a superior room.
With Imm Fusion’s great location just a short walk from Om Nut sky train station and 20 minutes by car from Suvarnabhumi Airport, gorgeous surroundings, friendly staff and excellent facilities (don’t forget the fast free Wi-Fi internet), you really can’t beat Imm Fusion if you want a budget hotel in Bangkok but with upscale service.
