Bangkok Airways resumes Bangkok to Maldives flights starting in September

After suddenly ceasing all Bangkok to Maldives flights earlier in the year with no advance warning, Bangkok Airways has suddenly accounced those flights will now resume beginning on September 1st, 2023.

The four-hour-30-minute flights will take place four days a week, and will fly out of Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK).

Bangkok Airways flights to the Maldives will occur on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, with Flight #PG711 leaving Bangkok (BKK) at 09:20 and arriving in the Maldives (MLE) at 11:45.

Flight #PG712 will then depart Maldives (MLE) at 12:40 and arrive in Bangkok (BKK) at 19:20.

All Maldives flights via Bangkok Airways will be on the Airbus A320.

Bangkok Airways is currently running a promotion for their Bangkok to the Maldives flights.

If you book before September 30th, and are completing your trip between September 1st and December 31st, 2023, the round-trip ticket cost for an economy seat is 16,570 baht (approximately $468 or €436). (See promotional graphic above)
