Marsha Wattanapanich (also known as Marsha Vadhanapanich) is one of the most popular singers in Thailand nowadays, even though she’s been in the public eye for quite a long time. Known for her beautiful ballads, as well as for her own stunning beauty, Marsha was even one of the top people Googled in Thailand during 2011, which shows you how much Thais still love her.
Marsha Wattanapanich is what’s known in Thailand as ‘luk kreung’, meaning she was born of one Thai parent and one Western. In this case, her mother is German and her father, Thai. Born in 1970, what’s made Marsha so incredibly famous is, not only is she a singer, but she’s also an actress and a model and, at the age of 40, still looks like she’s 25. In fact, people in Thailand often speak about her as the “perfect specimen”.
She’s also one of those few Thais in the media who really doesn’t seem to care what anyone thinks. She just does her own thing. Extremely refreshing indeed.
Married to Thai singer, Amphol Lumpoon, for a few years, they divorced in 1997 and Marsha hasn’t remarried since. She has one son.
