One thing hotel owners in Bangkok, Thailand do well is create stunning boutique hotels. With new independently-run boutique hotels popping up all over Bangkok, it’s sometimes difficult to decide which one is the most beautiful, as they continually outdo each other with stylish architecture and beautiful interior design.
That’s why, if you’re looking for a beautiful boutique hotel, centrally-located in Bangkok, with comfortable accommodation and inexpensive prices, you must check out these three Bangkok boutique hotels. Beautiful doesn’t even come close to describing them.
Siam @ Siam Design Hotel – Although this independently-run boutique hotel has one of the oddest names I’ve ever heard, who cares. The hotel itself is why you’re there and, with Siam @ Siam Design Hotel, you won’t be able to believe how beautiful it is. In fact, not for nothing was it just awarded “Best Hotel in Asia” status.
If you’re looking for a centrally-located budget hotel, then you don’t get much better than Siam @Siam Design Hotel. Located right next to a sky train station and a minute’s walk from many of Bangkok’s top shopping malls, shopping areas, restaurants and cafes, it’s not possible to be any better located. The beauty of Siam @ Siam too is, even though it’s slap bang in the middle of everything, it’s still a block away from the noise, so you get a great night’s sleep.
But, the beauty of this Bangkok budget hotel is why we’re here. Think 203 guest rooms, all designed to be as beautiful as an art gallery or “a film set” as Siam @ Siam says. Moody, warm and sophisticated, every surface begs to be touched, every angle to be photographed.
But it’s not just beauty why people flock to Siam @ Siam Design Hotel, it’s all about the world-class facilities, high-tech environment, spacious accommodations and being with the “in crowd” (the hotel has the most popular ‘chic’ eatery in Bangkok and one of the city’s top rooftop restaurants and bars).

Dream Hotel – Another of Bangkok’s most beautiful boutique hotels, Dream Hotel often comes out number one in lists of best Bangkok hotels.
From its enormous outdoor sign that simply says “Dream” to its stunning mix of Asian style and Western ambiance, you will feel like you’re in a dream here. Trendy and sophisticated, with five-star guest rooms, from the Egyptian cotton sheets to the 42″ plasma TVs and the iPod Nano, a world-class spa and gym, one of Bangkok’s trendiest restaurants and a chic lounge soaked with south east Asian mystery, this isn’t your momma’s boutique hotel.
This all-things-chrome and shiny hotel is high-tech and modern to the max, yet offers the typical Thai hospitality the Land of Smiles is famous for and, with special packages at only $119 a night, how can you pass this up?
Check out the pretty pictures on their website then click on ‘make a reservation’ You’d be crazy not to.
The Eugenia – Unlike the two other most beautiful Bangkok boutique hotels, The Eugenia is all ‘days gone by’ and classical Thai. Located in a 19th century colonial-style house, The Eugenia is also a much smaller boutique hotel than either Siam @Siam Design Hotel or Dream Hotel.
At The Eugenia, you’ll stay in one of the hotel’s 12 suites, with a four-poster bed, antique dressers and chairs, period bathtub made of hand-beaten copper, and even vintage light switches and lamps.
But, as much as The Eugenia is quiet, serene and feels like you’ve been transported back to the country of Siam over a hundred years ago, don’t worry, all the mod cons are there too.
Make sure you make use of the Library – where you can close your eyes, relax and pretend elephants still roam the streets of Bangkok (hmmmm, well, actually they do) – lie out by the tiny secluded pool and be served cocktails by discreet white-clad waiters (all colonial, you know), then finish off your day with Caviar, Kobe Beef and Sea Urchin and Quail Egg at The Eugenia’s gorgeous restaurant. Yum.
If you want a beautiful boutique hotel, in the center of Bangkok, but feeling like it’s actually in another century, The Eugenia is Bangkok’s best. Bar none. Photos here (check out the pool).
