Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl in Bangkok, Thailand August 24th at Paragon Cineplex

Thais are massive fans of Japanese anime and manga, so are sure to be thrilled they will be able to watch Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl in Bangkok, Thailand beginning on August 24th.

Aniplus Asia announced the film’s release earlier this week on their Facebook page.

They also specified which out of all the movie theaters in Bangkok Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl (Seishun Buta Yarō wa Yume-Miru Shōjo no Yume wo Minai) will screen.

Paragon Cineplex, with ticketing information for shows to be released closer to the day.

The Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl movie is based on the sixth and seventh novels in the light novel series by Hajime Kamoshida, and was released in Japan in June.

The film follows Sakuta Azusagawa and his girlfriend Mai Sakurajima, two high-schoolers whose almost idyllic life is suddenly interrupted by the appearance of Shōko Makinohara, Sakuta’s first crush.

Not just one Shōko, however, but two. One a middle-schooler who is very sick, and one an adult.

You can see Rascal Does Not Dream of Dreaming Girl in Bangkok at Paragon Cineplex from August 24th, although you may want to buy tickets in advance as it is likely to be very popular.

Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl stars Kaito Ishikawa, Asami Setō, Inori Minase, Atsumi Tanezaki, Maaya Uchida and Yurika Kubo.

The screenplay was written by Hajime Kamoshida, and directed by Sōichi Masui.
