Siam Paragon’s Hand-Painted Elephant Exhibition Celebrates Thailand’s Elephant Day

Thailand’s ‘Elephant Day’ was on Wednesday, March 13th and even Siam Paragon, one of Bangkok’s top luxury malls is helping to celebrate. I was shopping at Siam Paragon last night and then having dinner with friends and was thrilled to find an exhibition to celebrate Thailand’s ‘Elephant Day’ that included some of the most beautiful hand-painted elephant statues I’d ever seen.

You’ll find the hand-painted elephant statues at Siam Paragon outside the Greyhound Cafe on the second floor of the mall. They were just installing the exhibition last night, and it will be up throughout the weekend. Don’t miss it if you’re in the area, as the elephant statues really are gorgeous.

I especially loved the elephant designed with a Spiderman theme although, honestly, they are all so beautifully designed and painted, each new one I looked at suddenly became my favorite. Check out the photos below.
