If you turn on Thai TV or pick up a Thai fashion magazine, at some point you’ll come across Chalida Vijitvongthong. Also known as Mint, Chalida Vijitvongthong is a Thai actress and model that, even at the young age of 20, is already one of Thailand’s most popular.
Chalida made her debut in a Thai lakorn (soap opera) called Naruk in 2006 when she was only 13 years old. She was so well liked she was soon back on Thai TV in a new series called 4 Hua Jai Hae Koon Kao (4 Hearts of the Mountain), and again in Nuer Mek 2 starring alongside Thai heartthrob Prin Suparat.
Since her initial debut, Chalida has also been spoken about as one of Thailand’s most beautiful women and is popular with both girls and boys, who love her sweet smile, her playful personality and her seemingly pleasant and polite temperament.
