In the 18th century, Ayutthaya was Thailand’s capital city as well as the largest city in the world. Nowadays, Ayutthaya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Thailand’s most popular tourist destinations. Full of ancient ruins, beautiful temples and palaces, Ayutthaya is also popular with budget travelers who enjoy staying in a nice hotel but don’t want to pay a high price.
