Afternoon Tea at Imperial Queen’s Park in Bangkok, Thailand – Elegant Yet Inexpensive

As taking afternoon tea still continues to be trendy in Bangkok, several upscale hotels have begun their own afternoon tea service. One notable Bangkok hotel that’s well worth trying, if you’re an afternoon tea afficianado, is the Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel, located just a block down from Emporium mall and next to a stunning park.

At the Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel, afternoon tea is not only delicious, it’s inexpensive too. Served in a delightful traditional Thai lounge area in the hotel’s lobby, the Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel has an Afternoon Tea Buffet, where you can help yourself to an extensive selection of sandwiches, cakes and snacks. There’s also a choice of various coffees and teas. The atmosphere is elegant, the food tasty and, with the mellow background music, it’s a wonderful place to catch up with friends.

The Afternoon Tea Buffet is served every day from 2pm to 5:30 pm and, at only 399 baht (around $13), it’s an inexpensive price. Find out more information here.

The easiest way to get to the Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel is to catch the skytrain to Phrom Phong station. Exit the train and go down to street level. Walk back towards Benjasiri Park and head through the park gates (much prettier walking through here than going the street route). You’ll find a small entrance to the hotel down on the right hand side.
