If you are looking for a modern, quirky, weird, strange or just plain odd gift in Bangkok, for yourself or someone else, Q Concept Store is right next to one of the many Starbucks at Siam Paragon mall, and they probably have it.
A warehouse-style designed modern place with a bit of Victoriana thrown in, Q Concept Store is full of oddities like plastic cows, funky toys, Jesus key rings, Moleskine blank notebooks, home furnishings, chairs, gimmick telephones, cute notepaper and envelopes, candles, cool party invitations, lava lamps, vintage stickers, clothing, strange household accessories, and even Jesus action figures and other gag gifts.
What is really nice about Q Concept Store, though, is there is lots of cool stuff to play with, and staff generally leave you alone to browse to your heart’s content. Which, if you have spent any time in Bangkok, you will know is quite rare.
Be warned, prices at Q Concept Store are nowhere near cheap, as most of the things they sell are imported, but if you really need to buy something so unique hardly anyone else in Bangkok sells it, Q Concept Store is the first place to shop.
You will find the store on the third floor of Siam Paragon shopping mall right next to Siam BTS sky train station. The mall is open from 10am to 9pm every day. Just put aside an hour or so to browse, as much of what they sell is fascinating.
