I’m always on the look out for cheap prices at luxury hotels, so I was happy when a Thai friend gave me a tip recently about Woraburi Phuket Resort and Spa Hotel. Located on Karon Beach, which is my favorite area of Phuket Island, and a place I’ve holidayed at least 10 times, Woraburi Phuket Resort and Spa Hotel is in the perfect location for a Thai beach holiday and, as my friend says, is also very reasonably priced.
Interestingly, when I went to find more information about the hotel, I realized I’d noticed it many times before and thought how lovely it looked. Right on the beach, it’s a large hotel that’s situated in three traditional-looking Thai buildings. There are 207 rooms, all of which have swimming pool or ocean views and private balconies.
Rooms are beautifully decorated in traditional Thai style and even have mosquito nets over the bed if you love to sleep with the windows open and the sea breeze floating gently in.
Every room has a flat screen TV, coffee maker, mini bar, bathrobe and satellite TV. More expensive suites are enormous and come with jacuzzi, separate shower, wireless internet etc.
All in all, as my Thai friend says, if you want a relaxing vacation at Karon Beach on Phuket Island, you can’t go wrong staying at Woraburi Phuket Resort and Spa Hotel. Oh, and apparently, the beds are incredibly comfortable.

Out of all the websites I looked at, that’s the cheapest I could find it and, according to my friend, what she calls “Thai price”, meaning only Thais usually get rooms that cheap.
